Reseña:
- What a great place for Chinese food. Along with that, you’ve got a Peruvian twist added onto it.
- The service here was stellar. The waitresses were Hispanic but it appeared as though the cooks (and the menu) were Chinese. The place is located in a shopping plaza and it’s pretty small. They have some small gifts that you can buy there too. There wasn’t that many people when we were there so we were seated quickly.
- The menu was great. It had so many different items with both Chinese and Peruvian influences. I ordered a couple of things to try. The thing I came here for was to try the duck fried rice. I’ve heard only good things about it from Yelp, so I bookmarked it and was ready to get that thing on my plate. I also got an order of fried shrimp wontons ($9.95) to go with it. I thought it sounded interesting enough. My friend got an order of chicken wings and the Pork Con Ajo (Pork with Garlic). The food came out relatively quick (then again, there wasn’t really many people).
- The duck fried rice was great. It wasn’t really greasy and the rice was flavorful. I wish there were a little more pieces of duck. There weren’t that many pieces of duck, but it was big enough to share with 2 people. (Or one really hungry person)
- The fried shrimp wontons were delicious. I loved shrimp dumplings, so to have them deep fried….Amazing! Why didn’t I think to do that. The chicken wings were ok. They weren’t anything special. There were a lot of them though. (They didn’t have hot sauce when I was there, so that was deeply disappointing.)
- The pork ago didn’t look that good. It was a tiny plate with some cooked pieces of chinese-takeout style pork slices. Pretty unimpressive.
- I will give this place another try though because of the good-looking menu. The fried rice was fantastic and the fried shrimp wontons were so good. The prices are kind of high, but hopefully this place can stick around.
